It’s a long distance, an overnight running to conquer a course over two days and one night, with a team of friends, colleagues or strangers that will eventually turn out to be friends or family.
What to Expect?
Composed of 6-12 people to endeavor the hardship to finish the race and cries and laugh when it’s done! It is an unforgettable 200-mile experience. One thing, you’ll be exhausted for sure! With a shared van (good thing is you shared the fee other than that will be horrible 🙂
You’ll have less sleep, a smelly van, I bet you can’t sleep with the comfort you want. But you can share the big space outside.
What is Team?
It’s two days and one night obstacle course 🙂 Where the other teams are having fun and don’t have the longing of making it on the top finishers. They just have to make it to the finish line, that’s it! Though, being on the top is a big BONUS to the team.
There will be scenarios since you don’t know most of your team, but members will gladly accept who you are, you’ll not be judged, and they will welcome you whatever will be.
What to Prepare?
Van – it’s best to decorate it, the first and basic in teamwork. Here, where you can go along and learn from other members.
Costumes – that would depend on members, but I think to make it more memorable better to have one, further this does not be worn all the time.
Recovery Tools – foam rollers for mobility and from tight and fatigued muscles after a long run.

There are a lot of rasons to get out. By reading motivations on how to run and have fun on winter cold and dark alley. Because people are talking about the dropping temperature and the chances to run. And the hardest part is rolling out of bed.
So, you already have had enough of motivations from people, articles and even videos to keep you moving but sometimes it fails to. So, I have these new version that noone ever did.

5. Family oust you. Because of being unwell! Even your runner friends will forget you, isn’t it sad? ☹️

Running women’s perspective is to lose pounds or to be of shape. Most of the runners started for these reasons. And they just have to run without hesitations and no goals at some point. They’d never run a marathon basically, never had it in mind.
It’s the first thought on running. Straightforward and plain other than on losing weights. It makes sense, for me, I have this one reason at first. But when I am into it 🙂 No one could make me STOP. I am crazy about it. Total guilt!
Eventually, as we had it in our system. We get up, get dressed and run til it gives lives to ourselves. Being imperfect makes me exert more courage and determination to be different from others – a unique personality, a unique me!
Became hooked on running these benefits I am enjoying and the feeling of no regrets for my whole life.

And now if I have to count how many times I run a marathon? I can’t say it, well it just an outnumbers to say, though!
YES, I am crazy enough to say that I could have the chance of not getting hurt badly as those runners whined up about bruises, splints, or worst bone dislocation.
Medals are just for recognition, but the things that thought me in running a marathon are the benefits, what I’ve learned, impossibilities never had the chance!
But in the end, never let yourself deprive of running a marathon, the experience are above expectations, those feeling of contentment felt of being a whole person.
Winter running has different impressions and reasons: cold, too dark, snowy, slippery and all! Running in the cold isn’t as tough as it looks. It only freezes your butt off if you still.
Being motivated is keeping you in a wimp! And it’s too tiresome to go out because of the cold breeze. But those are just a few of the reasons of a quitter! Yeah, you heard it right! And I can spell it to you – Y-U-O *hair-flip 😛
And if you don’t want to be called names, here’s some tips to get you running!
One key factor is to sign up marathon for spring. In sense, that you don’t have the choice but to do the training on winter.
Gear up! Get the right top and bottom in a good layer. That will keep you warm and make sure it doesn’t feel clingy and without restricting your movement.
Run with friends or group. This is one way to make you motivated and do some activity that will make the run exciting.
Be Visible. Importantly! Wear reflective, fluorescent gear, headlight or flashlights. Or what makes you more comfortable. And also not just by reflecting yourself but make your trails visible too. Remember to have the pre-run workout to make your body ready. When warm you can’t feel the cold outside! Also, forget your speed but you can have the experiment on running on thick snow if you’ll be faster in spring in time for your marathon race.

Getting off the break as we celebrated the summer. Summer is in the beaches, family vacations, and barbecues! And for the runners who think that they wasted their life by not satisfying a good run which limits from the heat of the sun and humid. Well, they spent almost of their life running on a treadmill, feeling they’re stuck!
Others may have started their autumn marathon training. And as for losing weight it was the great time to sweat off without doing extra moves 😀

It is the season where the night and day having the same length all over the world. So having the best run will be early in the morning or early in the evening. Running at this time will welcome you with the cool breeze. Refreshing your minds making you think things through your day, as it started and ended! But be extra careful too, especially on snakes. Well, we always can’t tell one unless it moves 😀

Though it’s 90, 95, 98 or 100 plus degrees outside and its flaming hot! Do not let the sun beats you, do it otherwise! There are tips on summer running to avoid dramas ⬆️ ⬆️ when outside 😁!
If you can’t stand the heat. Take another time routine; running in the early morning or at night time. You’re not the only one running at this time. People are more convenient or just their time preference. There’s a big difference running outside and on a treadmill, you know that!
Basic steps on night running here to make you comfortable.
Not all people run on their comfort time. Well, early morning and night running before and after they catch up to their daily routines. Especially working moms and dads who can’t get the time they wanted for their passion. And they just can’t live without running. So, having the day complete whenever in a day it is!
Whether in a day or at night danger is in the corner. Though it is more depressingly dangerous at night but can’t let them still. Runners need to run or might die there instantly. Expressions that runners take it seriously 😂
So, before setting your foot on your door be sure you have these things.
HYDRATION BELT – Extremely important and keeps you moving. Find one that fits and according to your want. I mean pockets for gels or bars, keys or phone when running long distance.
PHONE – Turn your GPS on and let people know you’re running before going out, we don’t know danger! 😕 And aside from that keep your playlists and enjoy the run. Make your phone maximize its usage. And make sure you’re taking the right road.
GARMIN – Record your run, count burnt calories, draw your map and get your miles. Do this every run and compare!
REFLECTIVE GEAR – Be visible. Dangers are not by people but also by cars. Estimated 6% or more runners meet accidents in a year. Choose a hi-viz gear, extremely reflective, lightweight that doesn’t give uncomfortable running and fits you perfectly.
PEPPER SPRAY – Give those burglars what they want. Struck them right through their eyes. But make sure you know how to use it or otherwise jet yourself.
More runners met accidents because of negligence. Be sure you’re on the right road or lane. Be aware of your surroundings especially when in an earphone. And as much as possible run with friends.
Reebok Ragnar Relay series each month has its schedules to prepare on. Packing important things and never have to miss even one. Runners packing from excitement tends to delay or left something out, tendencies are! Especially to first timers but this doesn’t mean those who already race is exempted.
Com’on you’re not there to think about things and panic. You are there to run and have fun!
